We have exciting news!

Sorry we’ve been M.I.A! We have been extremely busy with lots of exciting things happening at Kris Lloyd Artisan and Woodside Cheese Wrights. We have so much news to share with you.

And most importantly we are now exporting to the US, I am so proud of how our team has worked together to get this over the line. You can now find our cheeses Saltbush, Goat on a Hot Tin Roof, Swag, Bush Buff, Edith and Monet in New York, Michigan, Boston, California & Connecticut. Our beautiful fan favourite Monet sold out as soon as it hit the shelves and our next order is already on its way. This is  a milestone moment for us as a tiny Adelaide Hills producer to see our cheese half way across the world. We are thrilled to see stores in the US on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook posting about our cheeses. There was particular interest in our native range which we have been producing for over 10 years. It makes us realise, once again, that we should not take for granted what we have in our own backyard, this is something not found in the States, so we can truly be competitive and give the distributor we are dealing with a point of difference to add to their portfolio.

Our next big announcement is one we think will make you cheese lovers out there dance on ceiling with excitement! After a 3-year hiatus, we are thrilled to announce that CheeseFest is coming backCheeseFest was on hold whilst works took place at Rymill Park, Murlawirrapurka which led to the inaugural critically-acclaimed Ferment the Festival being held in Rundle Park last October. It was great to get creative with a new festival and introduce fermented foods to the people of Adelaide. Things like Kombucha and Kimchi which are great for GUT health were introduced to many people for the very first time, and guess what? You have told us that you love them and how they make you feel! We wanted to combine both our love child’s and create one exciting weekend for you all to enjoy. Intro CheeseFest + FERMENT. We know that the people of Adelaide love both festivals, – why not do both?

Experience some of South Australia and Australia’s best cheese producers who will be serving gooey brie, stretchy mozzarella and brilliant blues just to name a few … we feel a cheese coma coming on! There will also be number of workshops and food demos, music, fun, friends and (stuff for the kids to do too!) as well as plenty of stalls to explore and delve in to the local produce and perhaps even a sneaky G & T (don’t mind if I do…).
